Elgin, IL, September 18, 2007 – Clinical Computer Systems, Inc. (CCSI) today announced that it has concluded a business agreement with Epic Systems Corporation to pursue the development of software interfaces between the companies’ systems. The companies have agreed to develop initial interfaces that will facilitate the flow of patient data such as vital signs, notes and ADT information between the companies’ systems.”The OBIX Perinatal Data System is a superior set of tools for electronic fetal monitoring surveillance, assessment and archiving,” said Kim Sell, President of CCSI. “By developing systems interfaces with an industry leader such as Epic, we are extending the data management capabilities and efficiencies of both systems to better serve our customers.”
