(CCSI) is excited to be a sponsor and to showcase the OBIX Perinatal Data System in the LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Post- Partum) room of the Intelligent Hospital. This is the first year the LDRP will be featured in the pavilion at the HIMSS14 conference and is one of four new rooms simulating the latest technologies in an expanded healthcare environment.
The OBIX system is a comprehensive, computerized system for central, bedside and remote electronic fetal monitoring. It includes archiving, point-of-care charting, single-click management reports, interface and integration capabilities and multi-facility support. The system is developed using the latest technology and able to be deployed in different environments to utilize the hospital’s current strategy and infrastructure. The OBIX System has achieved the number one ranking for labor and delivery systems in the 2012 KLAS® Performance Report – the eighth, consecutive KLAS report in which the system has been ranked by care providers*.
The Intelligent Hospital’s new LDRP room will showcase the latest labor and delivery room technologies in a vendor neutral environment, providing a testing and educational experience for members of the healthcare community. The room’s demonstrated systems for improving the entire birthing experience will include lighting, fetal monitoring, warmers for the new baby and electronic surveillance and charting (OBIX) interfaced to the main house-wide IT system.
