ELGIN, IL April 20, 2017 – For the second year in a row, Clinical Computer Systems, Inc. (CCSI), a leading provider of perinatal software, has donated over $10,500 to the March of Dimes “March for Babies” annual fundraising walk. The contribution will help support lifesaving research and programs that work to end premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality.
“Essentially, babies are our business,” said Kim Sell. “We have that in common, so it was easy to get behind this organization and support their mission. I’m so proud of my employees for accepting this challenge.”
To provide financial support and increase awareness for the cause, CCSI hosted several internal events including a game night featuring bingo and Texas hold ’em poker, a raffle comprised of theme baskets, and executive pie-in-the-face contest, and contributions were made via the team’s online fundraising page.
“We have employees located throughout the U.S. who made contributions and sent donations to support our efforts. Everyone was interested in doing their part to help the March of Dimes because we know, first-hand, the good work they do,” said Sell.
On Sunday, April 23, CCSI employees, family and friends, will be participating in the 2017 March of Dimes North Suburban March for Babies held at the Arlington Park Racetrack in Arlington Heights.
